Oh, the irony. Just days after Jeremy Corbyn’s rousing speech at the Labour Party Conference where he urged party members to engage in ‘trench warfare’, he initiated a battle with Clive Lewis, one of his most faithful supporters.
Clive’s anger is obvious and it was reported that he punched a wall moments after leaving the stage following his speech.
This is a prime example of what can happen when TV and politics clash.
In my new novel, There There My Dear, Lily Cubitt, the sexually provocative political student, theorises that it is impossible for every member of a political party to agree on everything.
And if you’ve read the book, you’ll know that Lily is far more than just a pretty face with an explosive labido!
